Finally, Broadway is back! With theaters closed for over a year in the Big Apple we are finally seeing the return of Broadway shows. The theatre district has sat dark for far too long and we are excited to see this reopening. With time more and more shows will come back to life and groups will once again have the opportunity to travel to NYC and experience Broadway.
Below are some of the Broadway shows opening throughout September:
- Hamilton: Sept. 14, 2021
- The Lion King: Sept. 14, 2021
- Wicked: Sept. 14, 2021
- American Utopia: Sept. 17, 2021
- Come from Away: Sept. 21, 2021
- Moulin Rouge! The Musical: Sept. 24, 2021
- Aladdin: Sept. 28, 2021
- Lackawanna Blues: Sept. 28, 2021
Broadway League has announced that Broadway visitors must show proof of vaccination and wear masks for performances through the end of the year. While guests under 12 must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test performed by a medical provider within 72 hours of the performance start time or a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken within six hours of the performance start time.
Although it may look slightly different and feel different, the energy of Broadway will be there.
