Aloha! A tropical oasis with warm pristine beaches and spectacular ocean views is waiting for you and your student group! Bring your marching band to Hawaii for a unique opportunity to perform in the nationally acclaimed Pearl Harbor Parade. Located on the island of Oahu, this parade held each year on December 7th features high school and college marching bands from all over the country and commemorates the anniversary of the invasion of Pearl Harbor.
The Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade provides a meaningful tribute to our veterans and armed forces while honoring the sacrifices made in World War II. It includes floats, classic cars, balloons, and performances by cheer teams, marching bands, and more. The parade route begins on Kalakaua Avenue in front of Fort Derussy Park and travels down Kalakaua Avenue through Waikiki. The parade then takes Monsarrat Avenue to the Waikiki Shell, where an evening concert takes place.
Along with your entry in the Nation’s official Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade, performing ensembles may also participate in additional performance opportunities. The Polynesian Cultural Center is a must see for any visitor to Hawaii. Owned by the Church of Latter-day Saints, it features 8 different villages with various arts and crafts along with local performances celebrating the Polynesian culture. The PCC also provides a great performance venue for any type of musical ensemble. Groups will be received by enthusiastic and receptive audiences and will have a great experience, not just during their performance, but during their entire visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center.
As the centerpiece of the Pearl Harbor area, the USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center is an ideal place for music ensembles to perform for citizens and visitors to Hawaii. This newly renovated and updated visitor center is where visitors begin their tour of Pearl Harbor where they learn about the attack 70 years ago. Often times there are actual survivors present to share their stories of what they experienced firsthand.
Located at Pearl Harbor right next to the USS Arizona Visitor Center, the USS Bowfin offers a wonderful performance venue for music ensembles. Or visit one of Pearl Harbor’s most iconic venues at the USS Missouri or Mighty Mo. Your performing group can perform a feature concert aboard this historic battle ship. This experience will create memories to last a lifetime and will be one of the highlights of your trip to Hawaii.
Applications are being accepted for 2025 and 2026 Memorial Parade. For more information contact UR Tours & Events on how YOUR band can be a part of the 84th Anniversary Memorial Parade. Come celebrate and join together to share the Spirit of America with the citizens and visitors of Hawaii!

“I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I was nervous about traveling as a chaperone with 30+ high schoolers, as I have been on badly organized trips, but this was amazing! Enough information was handed out before hand and, as unexpected things came up (Covid-19 national crisis) . . . . Thanks for a great trip!”
“I wouldn’t recommend any other company to plan our trips. They are well organized and always have my student’s best interest in mind. The trips I have taken with them (Hawaii, California and Florida) have always run smoothly. I can’t recommend them enough.”
